Fields of Mistria features 30+ villagers you can befriend, 12 of whom are romance candidates. Each character has a unique birthday, preferred gifts, and heart events that unlock as you build relationships. At 8 hearts you can confess, and at 10 hearts you can propose (added in version 1.0).

How Heart Events Work
Build friendship by giving gifts, completing requests, and talking daily. Heart events trigger at specific friendship thresholds. At 8 hearts you can choose between Dating or Best Friend. At 10 hearts (new in 1.0) you can propose with an Engagement Ring. The two secret candidates (★) become available after completing the main story and Mines questline.
